Chevy introduced the (West Coast Customs) customized HHR at the 2005 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. This model will not be factory produced, it was shown as an example of what you can do to customize your HHR. West Coast Customs, the customizer regularly featured on MTV's "Pimp My Ride", has done the modifications, chopping the roof, adding roll pans, two-tone blue-gray seats, dash, door panels, video screens, booming soundsystem, a unique front fascia with blacked-out mesh grilles, massive multi-spoke rims with low-profile rubber, and more.
