A tribute to the enjoyment of racing. The ultimate racing fan tailgate party HHR. Ray and his crew at Teazer from Huntington Beach, CA worked day and night for 6 weeks to complete this fun ride. Completed just in time to be featured as one of four customized Chevy HHR's on The Learning Channel "Rides" program to air later this summer.
Custom features include a 2 door panel truck conversion, wider flared fenders, cowl induction power hood, race car style wheels, air-ride suspension system that can be raised or lowered at the touch of a switch, smooth rear rollpan, re-worked front bumper, a unique paint job that has flames on the hood and fenders with right side black and left side red (a tribute to race car drivers Dale Ernhardt Sr. and Jr.). It has painted on names of famous racetracks and numbers of Chevy race cars in three different sized "ghost" letters in the paint job. It has racecar style side exit exhaust, roll bars, race car window nets.
The rear opens up for a tailgate party kit that consist of a slide out Mac Tool box functional barbecue, a 10 foot flag pole with US flag, racing helmet speakers hang from the tailgate, a X-Box game system with LCD flat panel screen and wireless controllers. It has a gas powered blender for mixing cool drinks, a fuel catch can for use as a tailgate cup holder, the driver and passenger seats can be easily removed and have fold out legs so they can be turned into lawn chairs.
