HHR Club had an in person preview of the 2006 HHR on 06/22/2005, here is the photo gallery.
Fit and finish is very good, no problems found. All the seats are comfortable, I especially like the 8 way power seat with lumbar and the fold flat passenger and rear seats. I do not like having to remove rear seats, the fold flat feature eliminates the need to ever remove them.
This one is a 2LT model with these options added: Running boards, Auto Transmission with remote start, 17" high polished forged aluminum wheels, head curtain side airbags, XM Satellite Radio. Everything else on it was standard with 2LT. It did not have Onstar or Sunroof. It is possible I may not have indicated every actual opton because I did not see the actual order spec sheet (Monroney window sticker). This was an early production vehicle, so some small details are subject to change.
It had Michigan plates because it is a GM owned vehicle touring for official by invitation test drives. The location was in California.
